Flores Tree Service is a family business in Knoxville, Tennessee, built on 15+ years of taking down trees that other people would rather not touch. We do professional pruning, cutting and tree removal, and we do it with the equipment and the practices the job actually calls for — bucket truck, chipper, log loader and skid steer, all ours.

What we stand on is honesty, responsibility and safety. Before anything comes down you get a straight diagnosis: whether the tree is really a hazard, whether pruning would fix it, and exactly what it will cost. If a tree does not need to come down, we tell you that, even though removal is the bigger ticket.

We are licensed and insured, we clean up completely, and we back the work. Senior and veteran discounts are available — just mention it when you call for your free estimate.

How much does it cost to remove a tree in Knoxville?
It depends on the height, the species, how close it is to the house or the power line, and whether a bucket truck can reach it or it has to be climbed and rigged. A small backyard tree and a 90-foot oak leaning over a roof are not the same job. That is why the estimate is free and in person — we look at the actual tree instead of guessing over the phone.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free and we come to you. Senior and veteran discounts are also available, so mention it when you call.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Tree work is the kind of job where that matters — if something goes wrong near your house, you want the crew carrying the liability, not you. Ask and we will show you the certificate.
Do you handle emergencies and storm damage?
Yes. Trees on roofs, trees across driveways and split limbs hanging over the yard are the calls we drop everything for. Call the phone instead of using the form if a tree is on your house right now.
Do you clean up and haul the wood away?
Yes, and it is included unless you tell us otherwise. Brush goes through the chipper, logs go out on the truck, and the yard gets raked and blown. Some people want the rounds left for firewood — just say so and we will stack them.
Can you get a tree out of a tight backyard?
Usually, yes. That is what rigging is for: the tree comes down in pieces we lower on ropes instead of dropping. Tight access between a house and a fence is normal work for us, not a reason to say no.
How far do you travel from Knoxville?
We work about 20 miles out from Knoxville, which covers Farragut, Powell, Karns, Fountain City, Hardin Valley, Rocky Hill and the communities in between. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask.
Will grinding the stump damage my yard or my sprinkler lines?
We ask about irrigation, cable and invisible fence before the grinder starts, and we work around what you tell us. The grinder throws chips, so we tarp what needs tarping and rake it out when we are done.
